Girls! You should be cleaning your makeup brushes once a week if used for powder and if you use any kind of liquid they should be cleaned daily.
If you don't clean your brushes they can harbor lots of dirt and bacteria and can make your skin break out. I love MAC's brush cleaner, I wash my brushes with water then with the brush cleaner and lay them flat to dry like the above picture.
