Today's topic is a fun one, SHOES!! I've had a few requests to show my shoe collection, or at least some of my favorite pairs and/or designers, so I decided to dedicate today's post to doing just that.
Obviously I'm a dirty little whore for Christian Louboutin. Recently, my girl Jennifer and I had quite the field day in the Robertson Boutique. For those of you that haven't seen
Jennifer's Closet Tour, it is a MUST SEE, her Louboutin collection is amazing.
Ok, back to our fun day at Louboutin
They had just received a shipment of new styles in, so Jenn and I left work to check it out! We had each intended on grabbing a pair, but there were SO many cute ones, we couldn't decide.

Jennifer Stano's beautiful feet. |
I ended up leaving with 3 pairs and she ended up with 4 (oops). I don't usually buy this many at once, this was definitely out of the norm for me, but it was my birthday, so someone very special treated me.

My trunk was exploding with Louboutins!!! |
We were like two little girls in a candy store, only with a lot of shoes instead of candy! Now on to shoe doctor, yes I said shoe doctor. As I stated in my last post, I am largely so skinny because I have the World's smallest bones; well, my feet are no exception. They're so fucking skinny that I even have to take my SHOES to alterations. Thankfully, only 2 out of the 3 needed surgery.
I go to the BEST shoe alteration/repair place in Beverly Hills, it's called "Progressive." They make everything fit so fabulously, and they also alter/change the design of shoes for me (I love to change everything, it's the designer in me). These two particular pairs didn't need much work, I just had to tighten the straps on the nude to fit my skinny foot, and then double layer the bottom of the orange/red ones so that my foot would fit to the top of the shoe.
Imagine how much work my CLOTHES go through before they fit...lol
Other than Louboutin, I love a good pair of Jimmy Choo's. They make really beautiful shoes with the most extreme craftsmanship. The only downfall is I find them to be very uncomfortable, but maybe that's due to the crazy ass styles I buy!
Here are the most recent Jimmy Choo's I purchased:
In all honestly, I haven't gotten my money's worth out of either. Unless you have unlimited income (which I don't), I'd stick to more classic looks. Outrageous styles such as these two are fantastic and exciting at first glance, but in every day wear they are difficult to tie into an outfit since they
are the outfit.
Other than Louboutin and Jimmy Choo, I love YSL because they are SO comfortable, and I love Fendi as well because they make super tall shoes (which I love!!).
Here are some photos of me rocking my 3 purchases from Louboutin that day, as you can see, I've gotten great use out the nude
